Epson LQ driver compatible printers were supplied with D series testers manufactured between 1994 and 2000. After January of 2000 all new testers have been supplied with Hewlett Packard printers. (Unless specially configured with the old Epson driver) The HP models use the PCL3 printer language. Epson LQ model printers are no longer in production by Epson. The best way to proceed is to update the EPROM in the tester. This will allow use of the wide variety of Hewlett Packard printers available. This can be done in the field or, the machine can be sent to Baker Instrument Company for upgrade. Hewlett Packard printers supported by the update include:
