Course Content

This introductory course will benefit the attendee by allowing them to obtain information from both technologies simultaneously. The first day and a half will be spent covering the concepts and theories of off-line motor testing and the second day and a half will cover the technical theory of on-line motor monitoring. The final day will be dedicated to more hands on and theory testing. Seminar price includes course workbook, lodging and most meals.

Course Objective

• Develop a general understanding of what static testing and dynamic motor monitoring involves.
• Knowledge of what standards are used in testing electric motors.
• Develop an general understanding of electrical motor theory.
• Knowledge of general workings of instrumentation for both static motor testing and dynamic motor monitoring.
