Course Content

This course will cover DC machine theory and operation, as well as repair tips. Topics will include testing, data analysis and motor theory. Discussions will cover basic materials, loading and stresses, the most common failure modes and recommendations for repair practices for DC applications. This course includes a 1 day EASA taught course.

Course Objective

  • Develop a understanding of DC motor theory.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the software involved for testing applications.
  • Develop a basic understanding of the materials making up a DC motor and their failure modes.
  • Hands on training for true familiarity with instrumentation connection and operation.
